In each, I focus on the coherence and effectiveness of the message. I work with NGOs, organizations, universities, and institutions.

Communicating means paying attention to the target audiences: the coherence of communication is assessed during reception, especially with social networks. The narrative becomes visible, and the digital data completes the perception.

Olivier Arifon is a professor, teaches at the Catholic University of Lille and is a visiting professor at the Jinan University of Canton.

Born in Paris, Olivier Arifon works as a consultant, researcher, and trainer in Brussels. After a PhD in communication in Paris, he taught at the universities of Belfort and Strasbourg, worked for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on academic relations France Germany and for the training of French, Romanian, Polish, Croatian and ASEAN diplomats.

At Université Libre de Bruxelles, he was a professor of political communication and organized a joint master’s degree with Jamia Millia Islamia University (New Delhi). Visiting professor in Sao Paulo (Brazil) and Kobe (Japan), he has taught intercultural communication and in Rostov-on-Don and Moscow (Russia), political communication.
As a consultant, he has worked for clients on the coherence of their communication and advises organizations on the effectiveness of their approach. He is the author of a book on Chinese soft power published in July 2021.
